Feijóo will call the PSOE barons if he wins the elections so that they «convince» Sánchez to let them govern
The leader of the PP and candidate for the presidency of the government, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has assured that, if he wins the elections on July 23, he will ask the PSOE leader to let him govern. And, in case Pedro Sánchez refuses, he will call «each of his barons to convince him». «I can assure you that he has sensible ones, even if there are few left,» he said in the presentation of his party’s electoral program.
The former president of Galicia has been in favor of major state pacts to address Spain’s «major challenges» with «major reforms». He has assured that his government will be «fair» and «non-vengeful» and that, although he has reached a majority sufficient to govern alone, «he will appeal to everyone to build a better Spain».
