The coach of the Uruguayan soccer team, the Argentine Marcelo Bielsa, announced this Friday his first team roster for parties friendlies against Nicaragua and Cuba on 14 and 20 Junerespectively, in which the players who are playing the U20 World Cup in Argentina appear.
Among the main players called up by the young players of the World Cup are goalkeeper Randall Rodríguez along with players Sebastián Boselli, Facundo González, Mateo Ponte, Fabricio Díaz, Luciano Rodríguez and Anderson Duarte.
Among the other newcomers within the Celeste team, Franco Israel, Lucas Olaza, Emiliano Martínez, Maximiliano Araújo and Federico Viñas stand out.
In addition, Bielsa has called up those already known within the Uruguayan squad such as Sergio Rochet, Guillermo Varela, Joaquín Piqueréz, Matías Viña, Matías Vecino, Facundo Torres, Brian Rodríguez, Facundo Pellistri and Diego Rossi.
However, for these two commitments the Argentinian coach has renounced the services of the main contact persons within the charrúa group as Luis Suárez, Edinson Cavani, Diego Godín, Martín Cáceres and Fernando Muslera.
Uruguay will face Nicaragua on 14 June at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo in a match that will mark the beginning of the Argentine cycle in command of the Celestials, a position he will remain in until 2026.
